Not to mention, Karen Mabie also has many other professional affiliations and memberships–such as Learning Disabilities Association, National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs and much more- so you can rest assured you are in good hands. Karen Mabie and the School Solution offer assistance that is individually tailored to the unique needs of the student to ensure the brightest future possible for your child.
These are turbulent times for many American families. The ones who struggle the most are the children. There are many things that can cause a crisis, great challenges and upheavals to families today and no “one size fits all” type of problem. Which is why finding a solution to every situation requires a unique and personalized approach. Every family deserves the most ideal academic and social environment in which their children can develop, learn and grow into adulthood. Finding the right school solution for a child is one of life’s most important decisions both emotionally and financially.
Searching for answers can be challenging, overwhelming, frustrating, and stressful. Families these days are in dire need of help in navigating their many educational and therapeutic options. As IECA members and educational consultants we specialize in helping families with children, troubled teens and young adults. We have extensive experience working with crisis intervention, dealing with oppositional behaviors, and other emotional/behavioral difficulties, and finding the most suitable solutions.
As with most IECA members we are trained experts with a comprehensive knowledge of placement options and a lifetime of experience. As IECA educational consultants we will spend at least 20 percent of our time on the road touring and visiting and evaluating score of schools and programs. It is only by physically being there and professionally conducting these visits that we gain an understanding of a facilities strengths, options and expertise.
Karen Mabie’s training as a school psychologist has prepared her even more than most to evaluate the complex interaction of many issues. She coordinates with treating professionals to find the best placement for every child and visits over 80 schools and programs per year.
