Karen Mabie holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and special education from Vanderbilt University and a Master’s and Specialist degrees in Educational Psychology from National Louis University. She is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist, experienced in evaluating and counseling students with learning, social, emotional and behavioral difficulties. Families rave about her ability to guide them through a scary stressful time, in a soothing, calm, confident way. She has a wealth of knowledge about substance abuse and the resources for treatment: schools, wilderness programs, in-patient rehab programs and after- care facilities all over the country.
