Sophisticated and effective addiction treatment requires time in sobriety with treatment professionals that understand the complexities of addiction and all the pain that is beneath the addiction.
There are some amazing residential options for adolescents and young adults fighting addiction. My goal is to find both the best short-term intervention and assessment programs for each family, and then the right aftercare program. It is critical to find the right place and give enough time so they can learn who they are; as a person, a friend and a family member without substances. A place to begin again.
